The Adelaide Critics Circle Incorporated has announced the shortlist for its 27th Annual Awards in 2024. Drawn from a field of nearly 70 nominations, the shortlist is:

Independent Arts Foundation Award for Innovation

Jesse Budel, composer, A Soundmap of Karrawirraparri.

MUD Collective for its support of trans-disciplinary communities of artistic practice.

Juha Vanhakatano, performance installation creator and director, Fill the Earth (Insite Arts/Illuminate).

 

Emerging Visual Arts Award

The Emerging Visual Arts Award will be announced on the night.

 

Lifetime Achievement Award

The Lifetime Achievement Award will be announced on the night.

 

The 2024 Awards Ceremony will be held at the Goodwood Theatre and Studios, Kaurna Land, 166 Goodwood Road, Goodwood, on Monday 9 December from 6 pm. Attendance is free, and all are welcome.
