The Adelaide Critics Circle has announced the shortlist for its 26th Annual Awards in 2023. Drawn from a field of nearly 80 nominations, the shortlist is:

Independent Arts Foundation Award for Innovation

PianoLab, an innovative fusion of piano performance and digital visual technologies, presented by the Elder Conservatorium of Music - J.M. Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice, Light Adelaide, and Recitals Australia.

Tutti Ensemble, for inclusive diverse events in Fringe Festival 2023.

True Ability, for creating theatre pieces, films, and for advocating for artists with a lived experience of disability.

 

Emerging Visual Arts Award

The Emerging Visual Arts Award will be announced on the night.

 

Lifetime Achievement Award

The Lifetime Achievement Award will be announced on the night.

 

The 2023 Awards Ceremony will be held at the Goodwood Theatre and Studios, Kaurna Land, 166 Goodwood Road, Goodwood, on Monday 4 December beginning at 6 pm. Attendance is free, and all are welcome.
